Servo 550

Cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, perforating, scoring and embossing - let your imagination run wild…

Innovative die-cut system for the creative subsequent finishing of printed material from the job printing, pharmaceutical, packaging, label and digital print sectors.

For the production of mailings, advertising supplements, booklet labels, folders, greeting cards, folded boxes and labels in one-up or multiple-up mode.

Compatibility with cross cutters, digital printing machines, folding machines, delivery systems, mailing systems and packaging machines makes this a general purpose system.

The format range of the BSR 550 Servo is from 550 x 750 mm to 210 x 210 mm. Sheets having a product thickness between 0.5 mm and 80 g/m2 can be processed (40 g/m2 optional). The maximum capacity of the machine is 12,000 sheets/h.

Options

Flat pile feeder

Pre-loading carts are filled in advance during ongoing production. A cart is replaced once empty.

The short changeover time and simple handling increase production efficiently.

Register Table ULT 550

Mobile transfer table for inline configuration of BSR 550 Servo with machines interfaced upstream such as cross cutters and digital printing machines.

Pallet Feeder

Products are fed to the punching area individually from the pallet feeder and rotary punched by using a flexible die.  The maximum stack height of the feeder is 100 cm. The sheet alignment on the side is performed with a register table with ball rail.

BS MULTI 450 / 750

Automatic cut, punch, hole-punch and perforating machine for inline or standalone operation.

The BS MULTI punch machine opens up a broad spectrum of subsequent finishing possibilities for folded, stitched and perfect-bound products.

Booklets, advertising supplements, instruction manuals, package inserts and calendars are typical products that can be produced in one-up or multiple-up mode.

Inline configuration with a saddle stitcher or folding machine is the most efficient way of carrying out multiple operations such as cutting, punching, perforating, hole-punching and shape punching in one operation.

Features:

  • Economic production in inline operation
  • No additional work cycles with external machines
  • Multiple-up production
  • Increases production capacity many-fold
  • Smallest format area when cutting
  • Front trim and blank separation down to smallest format of 35 x 35 mm
  • The "perfect spine" cutting system
  • Scoring system for perfect-bound pharmaceutical products. Neat cut quality without damaging the adhesive binding.
  • Shape punching with die-cutting tool
  • Cost-effective production of creative and eye-catching advertising supplements
  • Hole-punch, WIRE-O and perforation tools
  • Large selection of tools for fitting in infeed, punching area or in combination. Multiple punch operations are performed in one work flow.
DRUPA 2016

Although Friedheim International does not have a stand at DRUPA 2016, the majority of the companies that Friedheim represents in the UK & Ireland will be participating – Bograma being one of them:

Hall 6 / Stand B38

As one of the market leaders in the niche area of die-cutting machine engineering, Bograma will be presenting new customer-oriented total solutions that meet the high quality and economic performance requirements in label and packaging printing, job printing and digital printing.  Equipment on view includes:

RoboStack” – this is an in-line solution for rotary die-cutting different labels in multiple-up production, including automatic gripping and subsequent banderoling.  The production set-up incorporates a Bograma BSR 550 Servo rotary die-cutter and the RoboStack robotic solution for gripping, de-stacking and packing small format products, along with the US-2000 IBL-SM-E in-line banding system from ATS-Tanner.

The new BSR 550 basic: short set-up times, simple operation, economic and cost-efficient production

The compact and attractively priced BSR 550 basic is designed for users who want to produce short and medium print runs economically and efficiently.  The off-line system is suitable for die-cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, perforating and embossing a wide range of products such as packaging materials, labels, mailings, presentation folders, etc, from both offset and digital printing.  Die-cutting is performed with two magnetic cylinders, and the breakout and delivery unit has been re-designed, meaning that all air nozzles and deflecting pulleys can be inserted and aligned without using tools.  To exchange the flexible dies the entire unit is disconnected from the die-cutting area.  At DRUPA Bograma will demonstrate how various jobs can be die-cut with a simple change of tool.

BSR 550 Servo rotary die-cutter, the innovative die-cutting system for the creative finishing of printed material of all kinds

Compatibility with cross-cutters, digital printing machines, folding machines, deliveries, mailing systems and packaging machines makes the system extremely versatile. Simple tool technology, short setup times and high-precision fitting accuracy stand for cost-optimised production. The automatic removal of the section grids and simultaneous breakout of the inner cuts increase efficiency and ensure immediate finishing in the downstream machines. The two-up production of a 4-page flyer, including folding in the downstream M7.46 folding machine from Herzog + Heymann, is shown.
